SAND BLASTING

Sand Blasting is the process of removing surface deposits by applying fine abrasive sand at a high pressure without damaging the surface. Sand blasting is often used in creating a uniform surface finish on machined parts to achieve Physical Condition 2.

Tolerance can be guaranteed up to (+.005/-.0) with flatness (+/-.001) and parallel corners (+/-.002), on a part to part basis with indiscriminate variance IAW requirements per the customer drawing. This will improve the stability of the machine ready blank by relieving internal stress.
